This page will present and discuss Curt Schilling rookie baseball cards, which are found in 1989 Donruss baseball card sets as his rookie card is not in any of the other card sets from 1989 that I can think of, unless I am forgetting one.  There are many other websites listed here as well including ones that have specific kinds of 1980's and 1989 rookie cards including detailed listings and articles about your favorite baseball rookie cards including Tony Gwynn, Craig Biggio, Randy Johnson and many more great rookies.  The home page of this web site, baseball rookies, contains articles and links for and about rookie baseball cards.  Rookie baseball card is another great listing of first year baseball cards.
Throughout this site, you will find baseball rookies from the best Major League Baseball card sets (as well as many likely future hall of famers such as Biggio, Mussina, Griffey, Randy Johnson, etc.) featured in articles and links as well as pictures throughout this site. Many of the site's own cards will be and have been listed for sale, and you can get a great deal on your favorite baseball rookie cards as my collection spans many eras and players.   Many articles have been and will be added soon here to highlight superb current and retired baseball rookies and hall of famers.

1989 is the year in baseball cards of Curt Schilling rookie cards (a player with a high likelihood of becoming a hall of famer as he was a great starting pitcher for many years).  Also, it is a rarity for 1989 rookies that one is so limited as to only being in 1989 Donruss.  Also, obtaining autographed and game worn jersey cards of him is a great idea.

His rookie cards are in the card years that also contain rookies of Ken Griffey Jr., Craig Biggio, John Smoltz, Randy Johnson, Gary Sheffield, and many others.  Those are the highlights of other cards you can receive in 1989 Donruss boxes and sets of this year not to mention all of the current hall of famers such as Nolan Ryan.  Also, there are many other lesser valued (currently) rookie cards that are available in this year of cards, as well msny superstars such as Barry Bonds.

In conclusion, a rookie card of Randy Johnson is great for your baseball card rookie collection because he is a future hall of famer, and was a great pitcher.

This page can help you find the best rookie baseball cards.  Traded Sets features a great website devoted entirely to Topps Traded, Donruss the Rookies, Fleer Update, and other supplemental sets at the end of the year such as the ones from Score football, hockey, and baseball.  This site will help you find all of your favorite xrc's of the best players in each sport.
